This Privacy Policy explains how Routify collects and uses personal data.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, encrypted password hash.
• App data: habits, check-ins, preferences, and profile metadata.
• Technical data: request logs, status codes, timestamps, request identifiers, IP address, and device metadata required for operations and security.
• Advertising data: ad display and ad-network technical identifiers required to deliver ads.

2. Why we use your data

• Provide authentication and core app features.
• Sync your habit data across sessions and devices.
• Monitor reliability, diagnose incidents, and improve security.
• Send service emails, including password reset and account-related notifications.
• Display ads in the application.

3. Legal basis

We process data to provide the service you requested, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and service reliability.

4. Data retention

• Inactive accounts: deleted after 24 months of inactivity.
• Account deletion request: active account data is deleted from production systems.
• Technical logs: retained for up to 12 months, then automatically deleted.

5. Security

We apply organizational and technical safeguards to protect your data, including access controls and secure password handling. No system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers strictly for hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, advertising delivery, and security operations.

7. Analytics and crash tracking

No third-party analytics SDK and no third-party crash tracking SDK are currently used. Operational diagnostics rely on technical server logs only.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data. We answer requests within 30 days.

9. Age policy

Routify is not intended for minors. The service is reserved for users aged 18 and over.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by French law.
